[0:00] This is the Wealthy Investor Show, where we don’t just talk about your wealth, we also talk about your holistic health. I’m your host, Matias. And I’m Erica. And this is the Wealthy Investor.

[0:15] Welcome back to the Wealthy Investor. It’s the last episode, guys. We’re leaving. How do you feel about this, Erica? We’re starting something new. No, it’s exciting. Yeah, it is. We’re not leaving. We’re just moving over or transitioning over. So please, please, please, please, please go follow us on the REI agent. As you can see in the description, we are rebranding to the REI agent from the Wealthy Investor. And it’s really just an evolution, if you will. We decided that we’re really focused a little bit more, our niche is a little bit more on agents than it is just kind of investors and agents. That was kind of a sub-genre, a sub-theme before, if you will. But we want to really bring that into the forefront, partially because I am writing a book about kind of starting your real estate investing career as an agent or starting your agent career and investing career.

[1:09] It’s going to be a three-part book at this point, at least. Still in the process, still in the works, but basically how to start with no money, being an agent and investing in real estate and moving up to when you have a little bit of equity, you have a little bit of money, you have a little bit of momentum in your business, that stage. And then when you’re killing it, how do you kind of maximize? So this is a natural progression. Erica, your role is going to be basically the same. I think the general format of the conversation will be very similar. And I’ve always been, like my role as part of the podcast has been to talk with our guests about just their lives and what they’ve been through and how they have overcome certain challenges to get to where they are today. And so I get to ask those kinds of questions and those will still come up in a very similar way. I love when you’re on the podcast with me because you just hit a question I would never think of. And it just like, it always cuts through somehow.

[2:15] And it’s like, it takes people back. It’s not like it’s, I don’t think they’re like looking back on it. Oh, I wish I didn’t say that or anything like that. But it’s like, it’s just this question that makes them think and it makes them open up and be more authentic. Because I think sometimes people come on here and they’re very, very rehearsed in what they typically talk about in podcasts and they’re not used to having a therapist interview them. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I get to ask a lot more of the processing questions. How did that happen? What did you think about this now reflecting back on it? Those kinds of things, as opposed to a lot of these podcasts that talk about investment and real estate portfolios. It’s more about what have you done in your life and what have you accomplished?

[2:57] And then this, this, this adds just a little bit of a different dimension to it. Yeah. And that’s, that’s what I’m really loving about it is I think that we kind of hit a few different aspects in every episode. We don’t really, we’re not really scripting, you know, it’s probably obvious, but we’re, we want to have a more naturally flowing conversation and have really good guests on that inspire us personally, that hopefully then inspire you as well to, you know, go out there and get it now. So talking a little bit logistically about the formatting of this, how the show, the REI agent is going to be, we will have agent specific shows about talking about sales. This could also lend itself really well to people who just are interested in business building. That’s going to be a big process, part of the prospect of this process as well, is how do you build up a business? If you are an entrepreneur that has everything, you know, you do everything in your business we’re going to be talking about how to get out of that trap a little bit as part of this process as well. So if you’re not an agent, there might be some value

[4:03] that you get still on Tuesdays. Now, if you are mainly just an investor or an investor focused person, you know, Thursdays are going to be what we talk about with more just investors in general. So if you want to just follow along for the investment side of things, Thursdays is going to be your jam. But yeah, so we’re, we’re really excited about this transition. Um, we are, again, this can be two episodes a week now. Uh, so we’re going to have hopefully some more momentum built up with that, uh, talking to overall, just high, uh, achieving people that are out there killing it and that are out there trying to live their best life the best way they can intentional. Uh, how do you stay grounded? How do you try to find balance? How do you stay healthy? How do you keep your mind right? How do you balance your family and, uh, your relationships? All that good stuff is what we’re going to keep talking about because really we see real estate as a vehicle to living the good life.

[4:57] And I think if you have been following along up to this point, then you’ve listened to all of the different episodes. Um, I at least have noticed that there are patterns that have emerged in common themes about how like the mindset, um, a lot of the people that the guests that we’ve been talking to, they tend to approach life in a very similar way and, and have a very pretty, I’d say pretty similar, um, way of like approaching challenges or, or trying to get through something really tough. And that has let them think really big and take risks and it has rewarded them and gotten them to the place where they can live in different parts of the country for a part of the year, or has an unlocked opportunities that maybe they would not have otherwise seen if, um, they weren’t thinking more freely or practicing gratitude or having a different kind of mindset or if they weren’t living a balanced lifestyle anyway, but that, that piece of it, um, I think is really interesting.

[6:03] If you’ve kind of followed along up till now, and I’m curious to see if that will continue in our future episodes. Yeah. I think that, you know, we, we’ve talked about how I especially have found kind of a new home with some of my investing community that I have or a new community, I should say with, with the investing people that I’ve been talking with. And then on the show, especially, I think there’s a big community of people who have read similar books that kind of get them to think in a similar way. And, and I love it because I think, you know, for the most part, people are thinking abundantly in this space and that leads to, um, you know, us cheering each other on and being happy for each other’s successes and freely sharing what we know, because we know that we got information from other people that got us to where we’re at. And there’s plenty out there to go around.

[6:54] So we, we want to see other people win that’s kind of, yeah, that’s what we’re, we’re all about. That’s what we’re, we’re looking forward to, to share. So definitely, definitely. We want you to go ahead and go to the REI agent, um, and subscribe and whatever platform you’re in. Um, we actually have the REI agent.com as well, where you can get an RS feed, RSS feed of the episodes as well. Um, that’s going to be ongoing. There’s gonna be more stuff coming out there, but for now, uh, just, just go subscribe to, to that so that you don’t miss the next episodes. Anyway, we look forward to, uh, our next guests on the REI agent and whoever has listened to us, uh, religiously over here on the wealth, wealthy investor. We really thank you. Uh, it means a lot to us. And I hope that you can find a lot of value and information in the transition into the new REI agent.

[7:48] And please leave us reviews too. We love reading them. Yes. And if you, if you have thoughts or if you enjoy the podcast, please let us know and leave a review. Yeah. And if you have a niche topic that you want to hear about, um, specifically, we can try to, you know, find a guest that matches that and, and talk about it more specifically, that could be investing, that could be something within, um, the agent world as well. So yeah, we love you guys. Thank you so much for, for tuning in.
